Our Mission

To partner with school staff, volunteers, and the community to enhance the educational experience of children and their families, foster a strong sense of community and inclusiveness, and advocate for each child with a legislative voice.

2023-2024 Goals

• Strive for 100% membership to ensure that every child at Issaquah Valley Elementary has a legislative voice.

• Build and strengthen the IVE and Issaquah communities through inclusive and accessible PTA sponsored events and outreach programs.

• Provide support to IVE’s academic endeavors by partnering with school staff and families.

• Build awareness about the critical role of IVE PTA in advocating for all children to reach their full potential.

• Expand and engage our volunteer base to support PTA programming.

• Utilize effective communication channels to promote PTA programs.

• Support purposeful fundraising programs to provide academic enrichment and community building opportunities.

• Maintain fiscal responsibility and stewardship of PTA funds.

• Transition PTA documentation to appropriate digital formats as allowed applicable rules, laws, and guidelines.

• Promote diversity, inclusion, outreach, and equity in all PTA efforts.
